It's an engine, with a circular blade attached. When our instructor told us about the industrial rotary cutter, I thought it would just be a really heavy duty cutter. Like the ones you used for quilting, but maybe made of metal. Not so!

Why didn't I visit the Bookhou shop when I was in Toronto? Oh well, I'll just console myself with their etsy shop. This husband and wife team specialize pleasing wood, ceramic and textiles that have a distict Lotta Jansdotter-ish feel. I might need to buy myself this clutch as a birthday present.
